CAAS is proud of the overwhelming growth and enthusiasm within our program and thanks our members for their support. From a small school gym in Highland Park to a state of the art 17,500 sq. ft. training facility, the program has seen significant skill development and team successes. Years of experience has taught us that as an organization grows it is critical that the core values that drove it to this success remain intact and consistent for every team and athlete. These successes were obtained through hands on, hard work- a standard that must remain.

It is apparent that the management of an organization of this size can not rest on the shoulders of one person alone. To that end, I have decided to create the role of Operations Director. Under my guidance as the Program Director, the Operations Director will manage the daily operations of the CAAS teams and the CAAS Association.

The charge of the Operations Director is to make consistent the standards and operations for each team by drawing on the talents of the current staff and guiding the staff to rotate their talents amongst each team. To accomplish this, the Operations Director will serve as the Head Coach of each CAAS team.

Taking on the role of Operations Director is Michael Drulis. As a long time member of the Cheer Academy family and an accomplished coach/instructor, we will work cooperatively with each team to drive the program to the next level. Following team formation coaches will be assigned, based on qualifications and instruction ability. These "Home Coaches" will manage the teams in further detail. Your CAAS coaches will work together under the following guidelines when managing their teams:

" Recognition of individual strengths and development in an effort to build competitive teams
" Develop a series of checkpoints with tangible deliverables for each team to meet throughout the season
" Consistent evaluation of deliverables so that the strategy for success can be re-adjusted as need be.

To accommodate the aforementioned growth particularly in the area of communications, we have established a chain of command for your communication needs. All issues both positive and that of concern are to be directly communicated to the Operations Director. If a satisfactory answer is not met, CAAS members are encouraged to speak to the Program Director.

It gives me great pride to share this special time with you, the CAAS family. Michael and I look forward to the 2006-2007 competitive season and your support. But most importantly we look forward to participating in your child's development here at the Cheer Academy.

Regards,
Cindy
